Desidério Lázaro , saxophonist and composer, is a Jazz Saxophone teacher at ESML and one of the founders of the Algarve Jazz Collective. He will lead a workshop for students of the Loulé Music Conservatory*, open not only to saxophonists but also to those playing other melodic and harmonic instruments.

Desidério Lázaro (Faro, 1982), one of the most renowned Portuguese saxophonists and composers in the field of Jazz, trained in Portugal and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, is widely recognized for his distinctive sound and the aesthetic versatility he demonstrates in his work.
He is a highly prolific artist, with 11 solo albums released, illustrating his creative breadth, ranging from jazz-rock (Samsara) to more experimental music (MicrUs and MicrUs Temporis). These works have earned him several nominations for "jazz album of the year". Throughout his career, he has…
