CROCODILE CLUB is a creation by Mickaël de Oliveira, which seeks to address the new Portuguese political landscape and its recent radicalization to the right, following the global trend of the rise of the far-right and new populisms that exploit and manipulate discontent and fuel fear. "Crocodile Club" is about the limits of democracy, starting from a weekend retreat among friends.
The play, which calls for a revision of the imagery inherent in the tradition of horror cinema, will be read by members of the SinCera group (University Theatre of the Algarve) directed by the author, Mickaël de Oliveira, and by Luís Araújo.
